The housing of the lamps are Type III hard-anodized and waterproof by the terms of the IPX-8 standard.

The TK76 is powered by 18650 Li-Ion rechargeable batteries and the digitally regulated output maintains constant brightness. The 2 XM-L2 U2 LED modules (coolwhite) and the XM-L2 T6 LED module (neutralwhite) from Cree are capable of being operated independently from each other, together they reach a luminosity of up to 2800 Lumens.

The Center-LED in coolwhite is used for max range distances, the second coolwhite LED for short range distances and the third neutralwhite LED for the immediate near field.
